Adolescence is a time of discovery and exploration -- and, for some teenagers, a time of drug experimentation. Peer pressure, low self-esteem, and depression are among the many reasons why some teens turn to drugs or alcohol. What you should know as a caring parent is that the sooner you get help for your child, the greater are the chances for a full recovery. If you suspect your child has a substance abuse problem, we can help. Lighthouse has a special inpatient rehabilitation program for teenagers that takes into account your child's various needs -- be they medical, psychological, or academic. Because we know that keeping up with studies is essential, our inpatient treatment includes an educational program for at-risk students. The School at Lighthouse meets New Jersey state education requirements, and offers individualized educational plans to help adolescents obtain school credit and boost their academic performance. Our professionally trained and certified teachers provide one-on-one tutorials and daily classroom instruction.
Lighthouse's adolescent inpatient program also includes: |
